Bouldering Report Hampi

It's fabulous as everybody knows. The Granit/Gneisstone builds sharp little edges and crimps, this is solid rock! yes it is warm here and getting really hot and hotter every day, so the best months to climb are from the end of november to january and even then you will climb in the early morning and in the evening and at wounderful full moon nights! If you stay out all day you probably need about 6 litres per person, that's a lot to carry. But we stay, it is so painful but so good bouldering here, it is amazing! The solution is the Baba cafe, where you can buy food and water (Rupies are lighter than water!) Anneliese is working on "cosmic friction", a tricky slab and I did a first ascent of an estimated 7a+ boulder, we named it "bam bam". A serious 7a+, not a Hampi 7a! Hampi is like this stoned (I guess on the movie as well) chris shama says, there is the dark side of this place, which means: trash, disabled people and crime happened in the rocks (not anymore, that's what we know) and last but not least: DIARRHEA, that's the energy absorber Nr.1! Warm up your fingers and be strong on crimps before you come here and you will have more fun!
