There is rock, definitly a lot, especially for Big Wall climbers I would suggest the Knockels Range and if you search on the island you might find a lot. There are walls, but no bolted sport climbs or topos for Big Walls, so explore, good luck because I am not so sure about the rock quality ... The climbing gym in Colombo is closed because there were no customers (don't trust the web info! except this here :).
